VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

In the fall of 2010, Atlantic Golf Club will have the honor of hosting the 30th Mid-Amateur Championship. Along with the US Open and the US Amateur this is one of the USGA’s most prestigious events drawing players from across the country to claim the title of best amateur golfer.

The Championship will be held over the course of six days with two days of practice rounds beginning on Wednesday, September 22, 2010.  We are proud to host this event and welcome the opportunity to give back to the game of golf and share our facilities with the country’s finest amateur golfers.

As hosts of this Championship, the staff and membership of Atlantic are committed to making 2010 the finest Mid-Amateur Championship ever held. This is an enormous undertaking and with that in mind we reach out to you, the members of our golfing community, for your assistance. We are looking to recruit approximately 300 volunteers to serve in areas both on and off the course. There are a variety of volunteer options to suit almost anyone’s interests and availability.
